A Neurodivergent nurse’s experience with Long-Covid, and what she wants others to know.”
It is finally happening, I am beginning the work on my book. It may take years but I am committed to writing it.
Part memoir, part poetry, part self-help it will represent the complexity of living with multiple chronic illnesses. Especially ones that are often ignored or denied validity by those in western medicine.

It will also be disability friendly. Shorter chapters that will follow a structure to help readers skip around if they want to. Blank pages as well, so people can write directly into the book.
This is a rare moment for me to share this; it is scary to let others know I am working on something. It also feels good and will give me some accountability to finish and publish it.
I will write this one word at a time. With tons of rest in between each sentence. I will honor the days (which there will be many) that I cannot write anything. That my symptoms will be too severe. I will also revel in gratitude on the days I can write.
